Titan Tail Lifts is a young, ambitious company that has grown rapidly since launching almost two years ago. We've built a strong reputation for providing high-quality repairs, servicing and inspections, and we're now looking for an experienced Mobile Tail Lift Engineer to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer who wants to become a key part of a thriving business where hard work is recognised and rewarded. You'll primarily cover customers across the North West of England, with occasional workshop-based duties when required.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing faults on a wide range of tail lifts.
- Carrying out repairs, servicing, LOLER inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Responding to customer breakdowns efficiently and professionally.
- Completing job sheets and service documentation accurately.
- Participating in the company's out-of-hours on-call rota.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Supporting workshop operations when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Highly experienced in the repair and maintenance of commercial vehicle tail lifts.
- Able to diagnose hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults confidently.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
- Organised with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable participating in an on-call rota.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
Preferred Experience
The ideal candidate will also have experience with:
- Moving deck systems (preferred but not essential).
- Dhollandia, DEL, Ratcliff Palfinger, Zepro, Bär Cargolift or similar manufacturers.
- Hydraulic and electrical fault finding.
- LOLER inspections and compliance.

Salary: Competitive, depending on experience.

Licence/Certification:
- Full UK Driving Licence (required)
Experience:
- Tail lift engineering: 4+ years preferred
- Moving deck systems: Preferred
- (We will consider strong candidates with transferable skills)
