Duties
- Support chefs and kitchen staff with food safety practices and hygiene standards
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning as directed
- Help with dishwashing, cleaning kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including storage spaces and workstations
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold high standards of food safety
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety protocols
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food service
