A specialist SEMH primary school in Haywards Heath is looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Assistant to work closely with pupils who need additional emotional and behavioural support to access learning and thrive in school.
- Supporting primary-aged pupils with SEMH needs throughout the school day
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
- Building trusted relationships with pupils to help them feel safe and supported
- Working alongside teachers to promote engagement in learning
- Supporting social skills, confidence, and independence
- Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEND, autism, ADHD, or challenging behaviour is desirable
- Calm, patient, and resilient with a positive outlook
- Confident building strong relationships with young children
- Passionate about making a lasting difference in children's lives
- Must be a driver with access to a vehicle due to the school's rural location
