Due to continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a Water Hygiene Technician to carry out standard ACoP L8 Legionella control work on hot & cold-water systems for multiple clients across the country. No previous industry experience needed full training provided.

In this role, we will provide on-site training so you will soon become confident to carry out the following duties:
· Temperature monitoring
· Shower head clean and disinfection.
· Assist with cleaning and disinfection of cold-water storage tanks
· Tank inspections
· Calorifier inspections and blow downs
· Water sampling
· Flushing of outlets
· Maintenance of TMV’s

What do I need to be successful?
· Self-motivation to work efficiently on your own initiative
· A full, clean driving licence as required
· Flexibility to work across the region as required
· A knowledge of hot and cold water systems would be advantageous
· A knowledge of legionella control in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG274 would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
· The candidate should be well presented and physically fit enough to carry out the necessary tasks involved with all aspects of water hygiene works
· Ability to communicate with Customers to discuss works conducted
· Ability to write site reports in a legible manner and basic IT Skills
· Good general administration skills
· A reliable nature and can-do attitude.
· Clean enhanced DBS check will be essential due to the properties to be visited
· Must be willing to stay away to complete works where necessary
· Weekend work, mainly Saturdays is available for overtime
This is a full-time position subject to a 6-month probationary period and in return the company is offering the following:
