Summary
To assist with the increase in demand for renewable technology solutions, we are seeking a skilled Electrician (Solar) to join our team in Cornwall. This role is vital in supporting our mission to promote renewable energy by installing solar panels and heat pumps for our clients. You will primarily be working throughout Cornwall installing Solar PV and heat pumps for domestic clients. As a company always seeking to push the boundaries of renewable technology, you will also get the opportunity to be involved in many other newer aspects of renewable technology, e.g. PV Hybridisation.
Based in Cornwall, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a constantly evolving, dynamic environment working with the latest renewable technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Install solar photovoltaic systems and heat pumps in residential settings.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and efficient installations.
- Conduct system testing and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards.
- Assist in site preparation and equipment setup.
- Support ongoing maintenance and client education.
Qualifications
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- 18th Edition Qualified
- 2391 inspection and testing
- 3 years Electrical experience minimum
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics.
- Advise colleagues and clients on electrical technical detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and team player attitude.
- Prior experience with heat pump or solar panel installation is advantageous.
