Job Summary
To join a small team assisting a bright young woman in all aspects of daily living, including personal care, in her own home. To support her in maintaining her quality of life and pursuing her studies. Thursdays and Fridays, 6.30am - 7pm. More hours may be available.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care - toiletting, washing, dressing, hair wash
- Prepare and serve food, and drinks
- Offer medication
- Support activities
- Maintain hygienic environment- washing up, cleaning the home
- Laundry
- Record keeping
- Monitor supplies
Requirements
- Female carers only
- Caring, person- centred approach; patience and sensitivity
- Proficient at cooking meals from scratch
- Ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail
- Must be prepared to wear a mask ( client in vulnerable to infection) and take LFTs as required
- Reliability and punctuality
- We are not able to employ carers under a sponsorship scheme
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £18.50 per hour
