We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused QS Commercial Lead to join Home Fix Scotland and support the organisation's commercial and financial success.
As QS Commercial Lead, you will lead the commercial and financial performance of the business, ensuring effective cost control, strong budget management, value for money, and sustainable growth. Working closely with operational teams, you will provide commercial insight to support decision-making, oversee contracts and procurement activities, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders to deliver positive financial and operational outcomes.
To be Successful in this Role, You Should be Able to Demonstrate the Following:
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Strong experience in commercial, finance, or quantity surveying roles.
- Proven track record in budget management, cost control, and financial planning.
- Experience in contract management, procurement, and supplier management.
- Ability to analyse data and translate findings into meaningful commercial insight and action.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and influencing skills.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or RICS.
- Experience within the housing, construction, or property services sectors.
- Experience developing tenders, commercial proposal and business bids.
