Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting in the overall operation of the restaurant. Your ability to upsell menu items and manage time effectively will contribute to the success of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Host using our reservation system, full training provided
- Take accurate food and beverage orders while providing recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and drinks promptly
- Assist with food and drink preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving to resolve issues promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes served.
- Perform basic maths calculations for order totals and ensure accurate billing.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not necessary
- Must have flexibility with your schedule including evenings and weekends
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- A basic understanding of food safety practices and allergens is beneficial.
