Secureassist Security Systems Ltd operates throughout the UK and overseas, specialising in the design, installation, maintenance and monitoring of Intruder Alarm Systems, Video Surveillance, and Access Control.
We are independent specialists providing a wide range of solutions for both residential and commercial sectors.
We are currently looking to increase our team that work in our Operations Room in Coventry as the business continues to expand. We have an amazing opportunity to be part of a team, with experience on both day shifts and night shifts to ensure a well-rounded knowledge of the job and the individual client requirements.
We would like two individuals who would cover three shifts per week, which would be a total of 34.5 hours per week. Through the duration of the shift, we allow for one unpaid 30 minute break as well as two paid 15 minute breaks.
We operate 12-hour shifts which will be either 07:00 pm to 07:00 am and 07:00 am to 07:00 pm. As the business operates 365 days per year, 24 hours per day, there will be the opportunity to pick up overtime when there are holidays within the business, for example. The Operations Room is open during all holiday periods meaning that our team is expected to attend shifts through these periods.
No previous experience is necessary as full training will be provided, however good computer knowledge would be beneficial and a good telephone manner is essential as much of our communication is completed over the phone or through electronic means.
Your main role will be the checking and monitoring of systems including Video Surveillance cameras and Intruder Alarm Systems. Through interrogation of these systems, you will manage events that arise and ensure that all required parties are made aware and you will manage the event though until resolution.
Other aspects of this role will include answering of phones and intercoms for the company and for clients, handling of false and confirmed alarm activations, liaising with the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), Security Teams, Client staff, and clients directly. There will some basic administration tasks required to ensure our systems remain up-to-date at all times, and remote management of client systems where required.
On occasion, this role requires lone-working, however the individual will be self-motivated and ensure that at all times they are performing operational checks and reporting to the team where required. The current position will suit candidate with a confident, organised and mature attitude who is happy to work both on their own and part of a team.
