Responsibilities:
As Events Manager, you will design and implement the firm's events strategy, reviewing current approaches and creating a roadmap for future success. You'll establish the processes, technology, governance, and support structure required to deliver a consistent and professional events experience across the business. Working closely with key stakeholders, you'll set annual objectives, measure event success, and ensure events contribute to wider business development and client engagement goals.
You'll also lead the delivery of key strategic and firm-wide events, overseeing budgets, reporting, and event ROI. As the function develops, you'll recruit, coach, and mentor Event Coordinators, providing leadership and direction while promoting best practice across teams. You'll work collaboratively with Business Development, Front of House, PAs, and external suppliers, continuously seeking opportunities to improve delivery, enhance attendee experiences, and drive innovation within the firm's events programme.

Significant experience in events management, hospitality, or a related field.

Proven ability to develop and implement event strategies, processes, and operational frameworks.

Strong project management skills with experience delivering complex events and managing multiple priorities.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.

Strong budget management, analytical, and reporting capabilities, including measuring event success and ROI.

Experience managing external suppliers and negotiating with venues and service providers.
Desirable

Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.

Experience building or transforming an events function within a professional services environment.

Previous people management or team leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring colleagues.

Experience supporting business development, client engagement, or marketing-led events programmes.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management technology platforms.

Flexible approach to travel and occasional out-of-hours event support.
