If you're an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer looking for a role with strong earning potential, paid travel, private van use and plenty of overtime, this could be a great next move.
You'll be joining an established engineering business with over 20 years' experience, originally founded as a refrigeration specialist before expanding into air conditioning and electrical services.
The business has built a strong reputation within the leisure, hotel and restaurant sectors, working with some fantastic names including The Ivy, The Landmark London, Marriott Hotels and Wagamama.
Due to continued growth and a busy workload, we're looking for an experienced engineer to strengthen the existing London and South East team.
The Role
This is a varied commercial engineering position where you'll be working across some of London's best-known hospitality and leisure environments.
You'll be responsible for keeping customers' refrigeration and air conditioning systems running efficiently, carrying out planned maintenance, fault finding, servicing and reactive repairs.
You'll be working on:
- VRV systems
- VRF systems
- Split systems
- Cold rooms
- Downflow units
- Commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment
Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs
- Servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Responding to reactive and emergency breakdowns
- Carrying out routine inspections and identifying potential issues before they become problems
- Working professionally across customer sites
- Completing job reports and relevant documentation
- Maintaining excellent relationships with customers and site teams
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced engineer who is technically confident, reliable and takes pride in delivering a quality service.
You'll need:
- F-Gas or NVQ Level 2 Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
- Previous commercial air conditioning experience
- Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Strong communication and customer service skills
