Summary
We are seeking a dedicated 4.5T Driver & Tester to join our team in. This role is vital in ensuring timely delivery of our Hire Equipment and supporting our commitment to excellent customer service. Based in Oldham, you'll play a key part in maintaining our reputation for reliability and professionalism.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 40 hours between 7.00am and 5.00pm
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 4.5-tonne flat bed vehicle to deliver and return Hire equipment to and from customer locations.
- Conduct vehicle testing and maintenance checks to ensure safety compliance.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines.
- Load and unload goods with care and precision.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate delivery records.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably within the Hire industry.
- Valid driving license suitable for 4.5T vehicles.
- Must have CPC and Tacho
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
