The Role
We are looking for reliable and detail-oriented Sealing Operatives to join our production team. This role plays an important part in ensuring our sandwiches are sealed, labelled, and packed correctly before distribution.
Working within a fast-paced production environment, you will be responsible for operating the sealing process efficiently while maintaining quality, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
Available Positions :
Full-Time Position 1
- 5 days out of 7
- Days Off: Thursday and Sunday
Full-Time Position 2
- 5 days out of 7
- Days Off: Thursday and Saturday
Part-Time Position
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Working Hours
- Sunday and Tuesday: 5:45am start until production is completed.
- Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 6:45am start until production is completed.
Please note that finish times vary depending on production requirements each day.
Key Responsibilities
- Feed sandwiches into the sealing machine accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor the sealing process to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Label sealed sandwiches correctly with all relevant information.
- Pack finished products into baskets for handling and distribution.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the work area.
- Follow all food safety, health and safety procedures.
- Report any machine faults, production issues or quality concerns to management.
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
What We're Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
- Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attendance.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing or packaging is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
