Clinical Assessor (WCA)
Location: Hitchin
Salary: £50k (rising by £1,000 at 12 months - Performance based)
Nurses | OTs | Physios |
Full Time Only - Hybrid - Monday-Friday - 9am-5pm.
Part time options - 3/4 days
The Role:
- Assessing claimants health, functional ability and work related activities via phone or face-to-face appointments doing Work Capability Assessments.
- Reviewing medical evidence & compiling detailed reports for the DWP
- Critical thinking and clinical reasoning
- Using your clinical expertise in a role that values quality, not speed
- Full Training Provided: 12 weeks of paid, structured training – covering assessment skills, DWP guidelines, and report writing.

Who We’re Looking For:
- Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Physio
- Minimum 1-year post-registration experience in an adult setting
- NMC/HCPC registered
- Confident communicator & report writer – IT literate
