Warehouse Operative
Operatives are key to the Warehouse and Despatch operation, and we are looking for an additional staff member to join the team. The work is challenging and crucial to Harte's ability to satisfy our customers.Main duties include (but not limited to):
- Error free picking, packing, wrapping and loading of jobs, that vary from customer to customer;
- Follow required systems and processes;
- Ensure tasks are recorded on our Warehouse system (SAP B1);
- Work positively with your colleagues in the Warehouse/Despatch team;
- Assist with stock checks as required in all areas of the Warehouse department;
- To maintain quality and traceability documentation/records;
- Report any equipment defects immediately to the Warehouse Supervisor or Manager;
- Provide support across other departments to cover holidays and unplanned absences.
You will have:
- Previous experience of Warehousing preferably in a manufacturing environment;
- Experience of picking, packing, wrapping and loading jobs, following required systems and processes;
- Able to cope under pressure and flex with warehousing and despatch peaks;
- A extremely strong eye for detail, and the ability to quickly pick up new systems, and processes;
- Counterbalance license required ideally from external trainer, but training can be provided;
- Proven experience using Warehouse Management Systems (SAP an advantage), including use of scanners and tablets.
