We are seeking a passionate and dedicated GCSE Maths Tutor to inspire and support students in mastering essential mathematical concepts. Responsibilities
- Deliver clear, structured tutoring sessions focused on GCSE level mathematics topics, including algebra, geometry, statistics, and number operations.
- Assess students’ current understanding and develop personalized lesson plans to address their specific learning needs.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to make math engaging and accessible for learners of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Track student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and adjusting instruction to maximize understanding.
- Support students in preparing for exams by practicing past papers, explaining key concepts, and building exam strategies.
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding student development and areas for improvement.
- Create a positive, encouraging environment that motivates students to develop confidence in their mathematical skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching mathematics at the GCSE level or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and patiently.
- Experience working with children or young learners, including those with special educational needs.
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies tailored to diverse learning styles.
- Ability to assess student progress accurately and adapt lessons accordingly.
