We are looking for a professional and compassionate dental hygienist who is GDC-registered to join our large, friendly team. The ideal candidate must be able to provide high-quality preventive dental care, promote oral health education, and support our patients in maintaining healthy smiles in a modern, welcoming dental practice environment. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Maintain strict infection control standards
- Collaborate with dentists and other team members to develop personalised care plans for patients
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in dental hygiene practices
Experience
- Proven experience as a dental hygienist in a clinical setting
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health principles, and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills to educate and motivate patients effectively
- GDC registration
