We are seeking a reliable and motivated Sales Assistant/Driver to join our team. Responsibilities
- Assist customers with product enquiries and sales transactions in a professional manner
- Safely operate company vehicles for deliveries and collections across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and secure transportation
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and update records as required
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding schedules, deliveries, and customer needs
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well-maintained, and compliant with safety regulations
- Assist in warehouse tasks including stock organisation, inventory checks, and heavy lifting when necessary
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar logistics role is preferred
- Experience in commercial driving and warehouse operations is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse activities is desirable
- forklift Licence preferable but not essential
