We are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Project & Client Coordinator to join our growing team in Kelso, Scottish Borders.
The Role:
As Project Coordinator you will oversee projects from point of sale through to completion, ensuring clients, trades, suppliers and our internal workshop team are kept informed and projects run smoothly and on time. This is a varied role that combines project coordination, client communication, scheduling and office management, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage kitchen projects from initial handover through to final completion.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their project journey.
Coordinate production and installation schedules across multiple projects.
Liaise with clients, builders, architects and subcontractors to ensure timelines are understood and maintained.
Prepare and distribute trade specifications and project information.
Coordinate installation teams and manage site scheduling.
Organise furniture deliveries and supplier schedules.
Coordinate with workshop management regarding production planning and lead times.
Maintain accurate project records, trade costs and timesheets.
Support general administration and operational tasks.
Assist with purchasing of project-related materials, uniforms and office supplies.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous experience in project management, project coordination or operations management.
Possess excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Be confident communicating with clients, tradespeople and suppliers.
Have strong administration and computer skills.
Be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Be proactive, solutions-focused and highly detail-oriented.
Experience within kitchens, interiors, construction, joinery or home improvement industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
Experience with Health & Safety would be an advantage but not essential.
