Role Overview
As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional standard of customer service across all areas of the business. You will ensure that customer orders and service requests are processed efficiently and within agreed timeframes, maintaining consistently high levels of customer satisfaction.
The role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a high level of empathy. You will play a key role in building lasting customer relationships while identifying opportunities to enhance commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and transactions accurately within agreed timeframes
- Deliver high standards of customer service in line with Ramsdens’ values: Trusted, Open, and Passionate
- Manage and resolve customer queries promptly and effectively
- Communicate clearly with branches, internal departments, and external suppliers
- Adhere to all security procedures to minimise risk and loss
- Stay up to date with customer service best practices and relevant legislation
Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently
- Well-organised and adaptable to ad hoc requests
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates trust, openness, and passion in all aspects of work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong keyboard and data entry skills
Desirable
- Knowledge or interest in jewellery and luxury watches
Working Hours
- 37.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
