** Background
The Change Support Unit (CSU) is a central function that enables City St George’s University to deliver change more effectively, creating a positive and measurable impact on both the student and staff experience. The Senior Portfolio Support Officer is key to the successful operation of the University’s Portfolio Management Office (PMO), reporting to the Head of PMO and ensuring consistent application of quality standards, governance, and assurance across the entire strategic change portfolio.
** Responsibilities
The role is responsible for delivering consistent, high‑quality portfolio administration and coordination, ensuring documentation, governance processes and portfolio data are maintained to agreed standards and remain accurate, timely and audit‑ready.
** Person Specification
The Senior Portfolio Support Officer will bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to supporting a complex and dynamic portfolio of change initiatives. Acting as a central point of coordination, they will help ensure that teams are well‑supported, information flows smoothly, and project / programme delivery is underpinned by reliable processes, documentation and insights.
