We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites, using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Ensure all areas are hygienic, tidy, and meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as needed
- Follow company procedures and health & safety guidelines at all times
- Use environmentally friendly cleaning methods where applicable to promote sustainability
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- Reliable with a professional attitude towards work and colleagues
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to cleaning operations is advantageous
