Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Fire Alarm Service Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, testing, and repairing fire alarm systems across various sites. Responsibilities
- Install fire alarm systems in accordance with schematics, system design documents, and safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fire alarm panels, detectors, and associated hardware.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, mechanical faults, or system malfunctions using hand tools and power tools.
- Test fire alarm circuits and components to ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements for fire safety systems and provide technical guidance.
- Document all service activities meticulously through detailed reports, logs, and maintenance records.
- Assist in integrating fire alarm systems with other security infrastructure such as CCTV, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and telecommunication networks.
Experience
- Proven experience working with electrical systems, including wiring, schematics interpretation, and system design.
- Hands-on knowledge of computer networking as it relates to integrated security systems.
- Mechanical knowledge of hardware components used in fire detection equipment.
- Familiarity with CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting processes.
- Construction experience or background working on building sites is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of telecommunication principles relevant to security system integration.
- Prior experience working with power tools, hand tools, and power tools essential for installation tasks.

Pay: £29,574.85-£55,355.26 per year
