Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems across various commercial and residential sites. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and carpentry skills to complete various tasks efficiently.
- Conduct inspections to identify faults or potential issues within plumbing systems.
- Perform basic maths calculations for measurements and material estimations.
- Assist with assembly of plumbing components and related fixtures.
- Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely to facilitate installation or repairs.
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, or repair work.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and carpentry skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to plumbing systems.
- Ability to perform basic maths accurately for measurements and calculations.
- Physical fitness for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments.
- Experience with commercial driving is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.
