Overview
We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Dental Therapist to join our growing team at Alyn Dental, a modern and supportive practice located in Mold, North Wales.
The practice is conveniently located within easy commuting distance of:
- Chester – approximately 20 minutes
- Liverpool – approximately 45 minutes
- Manchester – approximately 1 hour

Earnings: £50,000 – £80,000+ (depending on experience, days worked, and performance)
Duties
- Carry out comprehensive periodontal assessments and deliver non-surgical periodontal treatments.
- Provide direct access care where appropriate, including examinations within scope of practice.
- Deliver restorative treatments within therapist scope, including fillings in both primary and permanent dentition.
- Undertake paediatric dental care, including preventative and restorative treatments.
- Provide oral health education and promote preventive care strategies tailored to individual patients.
- Take and interpret radiographs in line with IR(ME)R regulations.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in accordance with GDC and practice standards.
- Work collaboratively with dentists and the wider team to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care.
Skills & Experience
- GDC registered Dental Therapist with a valid registration.
- Confident in delivering both hygiene and therapy treatments independently.
- Strong understanding of periodontal care and preventive dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.
- Ability to manage a full and busy diary efficiently.
- Team-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude.
