We are seeking a full-time Engineering Leader with a strong technical background and the ability to provide engineering leadership across multidisciplinary projects.
This role is suited to an experienced engineer who enjoys leading technical teams, guiding engineering decisions, mentoring colleagues and maintaining high standards of technical excellence. The role requires a Chartered Engineer or someone working towards chartership. While formal line management is not essential, you will provide technical leadership, influence project outcomes and support the development of others.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary engineering projects, leading engineering decision-making and providing technical assurance. You will review and approve technical deliverables, reports and specifications, while mentoring and supporting engineers to foster technical excellence. Working collaboratively with clients and stakeholders, you will help resolve complex challenges, promote innovation, quality and continuous improvement, maintain knowledge of relevant standards and industry best practice, and promote high standards of health, safety, quality and professional practice.

Influence engineering decisions across multidisciplinary projects through sound technical leadership.
You'll be a Chartered Engineer with a relevant professional institution and have significant experience leading engineering teams or technical delivery. You'll possess strong communication, stakeholder engagement and decision-making skills, together with a proven ability to mentor and develop engineers. You'll also have the ability to produce and review high-quality technical documentation and demonstrate a collaborative leadership style with strong accountability for technical quality.
Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, working with major clients and complex programmes, and supporting business growth and technical capability development would be advantageous.
You will ideally hold a degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline and have the ability to gain Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution. We actively encourage continued professional development to maintain Chartered status, leadership and management development, and opportunities to develop technical specialisms and strategic leadership skills.
The role will require the ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance. A full UK driving licence may be required for site and client visits.
