The role
Due to the company’s expanding activities, we are looking to recruit for an enthusiastic and diligent Caretaker/Handyperson to join our existing team on a permanent and full time basis.
This role is part of our Facilities team and will be involved with general maintenance activities around our site.
Hours are 08:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday, however there is a degree of flexibility for the right candidate.
We are looking for someone who can turn their hand to a wide range of jobs, from gardening and cleaning tasks through to typical DIY projects such as decorating, plumbing, drain & gutter cleaning, fitting shelves and so on. Electrical experience would be a benefit.
The work can be physically demanding and spread across a large site, therefore it is important that you are capable of extended periods of walking, bending, stretching, lifting and carrying. You should also be able to work at height using ladders and scaffolding, of course suitable training on this will be provided.
Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a multi discipline Caretaker role, be trustworthy, self-motivated, determined, hard working and have consistently high standards.
The start and finish times for this position can be flexible to a degree, however an element of overtime is likely to be needed from time to time, in order to complete the tasks required.
Overtime attracts premium pay rates.
Due to the nature of the work being performed on site, you will be required to apply for and obtain security clearance which the company will sponsor you for.
