Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Server/Kitchen Hand to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing excellent guest service while supporting kitchen operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen environment. Prior experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food, service, and creating memorable customer experiences.
Duties
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous manner, ensuring prompt and attentive service
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic cooking, plating, and garnishing as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and kitchen stations in accordance with food safety standards
- Support kitchen staff with tasks such as washing dishes, restocking supplies, and preparing ingredients
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer needs promptly and courteously
- Assist with setting up tables, clearing dishes, and resetting areas for new guests
- Follow proper food safety procedures during all stages of food handling and service
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is advantageous but not mandatory
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with guests and team members
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced setting
- Enthusiasm for delivering outstanding guest service and creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is desirable but not essential

Pay: £12.71-£14.50 per hour
