Full Job Description
As our Barista / Drink Creator, you’ll be responsible for delivering outstanding drinks and customer service while bringing fresh ideas to our beverage menu. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys working in a busy environment, and has a passion for creating memorable drinks.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee using espresso machines and other brewing methods.
- Make teas, hot chocolates, iced drinks, frappes, smoothies, milkshakes, refreshers, and other speciality beverages.
- Create and develop new drinks, seasonal specials, and signature menu items.
- Ensure every drink is presented to a consistently high standard.
- Provide friendly, welcoming, and professional customer service.
- Take customer orders accurately and process payments through the till.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic work area at all times.
- Clean and maintain coffee machines, blenders, grinders, and other equipment.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management when supplies need replenishing.
- Rotate stock correctly and minimise waste.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures.
- Prepare ingredients and garnishes for drinks.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Help keep the café clean, including counters, seating areas, and beverage stations.
- Work closely with the team to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Suggest new ideas to improve the menu and customer experience.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge and stay up to date with coffee and beverage trends.
- Support colleagues with general café duties when required.
Pay: £12.80-£15.50 per hour
