The Fludyers Hotel is looking for enthusiastic and reliable waitstaff to join our team.
This is primarily a weekend role, so applicants must be available to work Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as selected bank holidays and special events.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a memorable dining experience for our guests
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and drinks to tables
- Assist with setting up, clearing and cleaning tables
- Help with the setup and service of special events and functions
- Maintain good knowledge of our menus, daily specials and beverages
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and management team to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the restaurant and bar areas
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in waiting, hospitality or customer service is preferred, but training can be provided
- Friendly, confident and professional attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to remain organised and efficient in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be available to work weekends, particularly Friday and Saturday
- Flexibility to work bank holidays and special events when required
