Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Class 1 or 2 Recovery Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely recovering and transporting vehicles using flatbed trucks and commercial driving equipment. Your energetic approach will ensure prompt, professional service while maintaining safety standards at all times. Responsibilities
- Operate flatbed trucks and recovery vehicles with precision, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Recover, tow, and transport vehicles from various locations, including accident scenes, impound lots, or customer sites.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance before each shift.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams, customers, and emergency responders during recovery operations.
- Maintain detailed logs of recoveries, deliveries, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 or 2 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trucks or recovery vehicles.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle recovery techniques and safe driving practices.
- Ability to operate heavy-duty equipment safely and efficiently under various conditions.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
- Physical ability to load/unload vehicles or equipment as needed during recovery operations.
- Current CPC required.
