Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their event goals, preferences, and budgets, providing expert guidance throughout the planning process
- Coordinate all aspects of event setup, including vendor management, décor arrangements, catering, and entertainment to ensure seamless execution
- Upsell additional services or upgrades to enhance client experiences and maximize revenue opportunities
- Manage timelines efficiently by prioritizing tasks and overseeing multiple events simultaneously with precision
- Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure everyone stays informed and aligned on event details
- Oversee on-site event operations, troubleshooting issues promptly to guarantee smooth proceedings from start to finish
- Develop and implement organizational systems for tracking bookings, payments, contracts, and client preferences to streamline operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality, restaurant service, hotel management, or event planning—preferably with wedding or special event coordination experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and team members
- Demonstrated ability in upselling services or products to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines consistently
- Knowledge of fundraising practices is a plus for coordinating charity or community events within the scope of hospitality services
- Familiarity with guest services principles and hospitality standards to deliver outstanding guest experiences
