The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Rent Payment Team, which forms part of the Finance Operations – ACE Satellite Team.
Due to the nature of the position, you must be confident with your abilities to communicate and have good problem-solving skills. This is essential as you will be working as a team and from time to time you may be required to work on your own initiative.
Within the Rent Payment Section, the post holder will:
- Be responsible for the cash collection and management of overdue balances of student accommodation and related fees. So you will need to have good organisation and administration skills
- Build strong relationships with internal and external customers to facilitate prompt collections and resolve disputes
Help prepare automatic payment collection (direct debit and recurring card)

As part of the Finance Operations Team, we are working collaboratively as a team to improve our flexibility and resilience, whilst ensuring that we are providing expert support at all times.
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate in all aspects of the role including the current operating systems used.
