DSG Modular is looking to recruit 1–2 Assembly Operatives / Manufacturing Technicians to join our factory-based production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced manufacturing or engineering operatives looking for a permanent, full-time position within a hands-on production environment.
The Role
Working on the factory shop floor, you will be involved in the assembly and manufacture of our products, using a range of manual and powered hand tools.
Previous experience working within an engineering, manufacturing or factory environment is essential. Candidates with additional skills in fabrication, plumbing, pipework or mechanical assembly would be particularly well suited to the role, although training will be provided where required.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Assembly and fitting of components
- Using a variety of manual and powered hand tools
- Working from instructions and specifications
- Carrying out general manufacturing and production activities
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and to the required quality standards
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment
About You
The successful candidate should have:
- Previous experience in an engineering, manufacturing or similar factory environment
- Experience using a range of manual and powered hand tools
- Good practical and hands-on skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- A reliable and positive approach to work
Experience in fabrication, plumbing, pipework, mechanical fitting or a related trade would be an advantage but is not essential.
Salary & Benefits
£14.00 – £16.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

- 37 hours per week
- 25 days annual holiday plus statutory bank holidays

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 1:00pm
