Notty BaBa is a growing independent Chinese street-food business serving freshly prepared food at markets, festivals, weddings, corporate events and private celebrations.
We're looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our small team as the business continues to grow.
The Role
This is a hands-on role working primarily from our food trailer, combining food preparation, cooking, event service and customer interaction.
Duties will include:
- Food preparation and basic cooking
- Cooking and serving during busy events
- Preparing and setting up the food trailer for service
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Keeping the food trailer clean, organised and well stocked
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures
- Helping with event setup and clear-down
Who We're Looking For
You don't need to be a qualified chef — training on our menu and cooking methods will be provided — but some previous kitchen/catering experience and basic cooking skills are important.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable, hardworking and dedicated
- Confident with basic food preparation and cooking
- Friendly, approachable and great with customers
- Well organised with excellent time-management skills
- Able to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Confident communicating in English
- Available for a mixture of weekday and weekend work
- Flexible and happy working at different events and locations
Hours & Opportunities
This is initially a casual, part-time position with no guaranteed fixed weekly hours, as our work depends on confirmed events.
Notty BaBa is expanding, so we're looking for someone who can grow with the business, with the potential for more regular hours and further opportunities in the future.
