We're looking for an experienced Automotive Paint Sprayer who takes pride in producing exceptional finishes and wants to be part of something new and exciting.
The Role
As an Automotive Paint Sprayer, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding finishes and ensuring every vehicle leaves our workshop to the highest possible standard.
Unlike many bodyshop roles, this position will involve spraying complete vehicles as well as individual panels, making it an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys producing high-quality full vehicle finishes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing vehicles and panels for painting.
- Carrying out bodywork repairs, filler work and panel preparation.
- Spraying complete vehicles as well as individual panels.
- Mixing and applying automotive paint systems to manufacturer specifications.
- Applying the innovative CARDIP® Peelable Paint System.
- Colour matching and blending.
- Polishing, finishing and rectifying paintwork.
- Maintaining spray booths, equipment and a clean, safe working environment.
- Inspecting completed work to ensure exceptional quality standards.
- Working closely with the Technical Manager to continually develop your skills and knowledge.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Paint Sprayer.
- Experience spraying complete vehicles as well as individual panels.
- Experience carrying out vehicle preparation and bodywork repairs.
- Excellent knowledge of modern automotive paint systems and spray equipment.
- Strong colour matching and blending skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and pride in producing first-class finishes.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn new products and techniques.
- A full UK driving licence.
Desirable Experience
- Experience with prestige, performance or specialist vehicles.
- Paint Protection Film (PPF).
- Vehicle wrapping.
- Custom paint finishes.
- Experience working within a busy bodyshop environment.
