Job Summary
As a key leader, this role provides direct line management for Senior OHAs and OH Team Leaders, with full accountability across the following core areas:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day department functions and resource allocation.
- Service Delivery & Account Management: Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and service execution.
- Clinical Governance & Quality: Ensure clinical excellence, safety, and adherence to professional standards.
- Development & Compliance: Drive service growth while maintaining strict regulatory compliance.
- Clinical Practice: Deliver Occupational Health services as required, including management referrals, fitness for work assessments, health surveillance and wellbeing services. Provide expert Occupational Health advice and support to customers, managers and colleagues.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of COPE's Occupational Health Services;
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts;
- Support workforce planning;
- Monitor performance against KPIs, SLAs and operational objectives;
- Identify opportunities for service enhancement;
- Lead clinical audits, quality assessments and case reviews;
- Support risk management processes and continuous quality improvement initiatives;
- Maintain a minimum 20% income-generating clinical workload.

Experience
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMC registration;
- Hold a recognised Occupational Health qualification and up to date Health Surveillance training;
- Have significant Occupational Health experience within a SEQOHS accredited service;
- Have experience in clinical governance, quality, performance management and service improvement;
- Have experience managing customer relationships and delivering against KPIs and SLAs;
- Have the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining a clinical workload;
- Have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Occupational Health systems.
