About the Role
- Perform groundwork duties including trench excavation, pipe laying, spot repairs, and surface preparation.
- Providing clear updates from site on all systems using an electronic tablet. Including carrying out CCTV inspections to document completed works & repairs
- Conduct site-specific risk assessments. Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with approved method statements and safe systems of work. Reporting any issues, defects, or hazards in line with procedures.
- Operate machinery and tools safely and efficiently to support daily tasks.
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they remain in safe working condition.
- Ensure sites are correctly started & stopped alongside planners & streetworks team to avoid FPNs & Section 74’s from local authorities.
- Ensure excavations are kept safe through the correct installation of ground support systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot drainage-related issues, providing effective and practical solutions.
- Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining professional communication at all times with the customer, other team members & supervisors.

- Full Manual UK driving license (Required)

- NPORS
- Emergency First Aid
- NRSWA (Required)
- EUSR National Water Hygiene
- Abrasive Wheels
- EUSR Water SHEA
- EUSR Safe Dig – Cat & Genny
- EUSR Shuttering & Shoring – Deep Excavation
Full training for the role will be provided.
