Work base: Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay
If you are interested in a career in business support and administration, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within Social Care Support Services, working as part of the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team.
MASH is a fast-paced, multi-agency service that helps ensure safeguarding information is shared effectively to support children, young people and adults. As the service continues to develop and expand, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team and contribute to safeguarding outcomes for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
As a Business Support Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the team. Working alongside social care professionals, health services, police and other partner agencies, you will gain valuable insight into multi-agency safeguarding processes and the vital role effective business support plays in protecting children and adults at risk.
Your work will include coordinating meetings, preparing and distributing information, taking minutes, maintaining accurate records and data systems, monitoring shared inboxes, and providing administrative support to help ensure safeguarding processes run efficiently.
Full training and support will be provided, including developing confidence and skills in minute-taking, information management and the use of relevant systems. The role offers an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills within a supportive team environment, with exposure to a wide range of safeguarding and social care functions.
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities. You will need excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, a high level of integrity, and the ability to remain calm and professional when working in a busy environment where confidentiality is essential.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference behind the scenes by supporting services that help safeguard and improve the lives of children, young people and adults across Conwy.
