ALS People are currently recruiting for Class 2 LGV Drivers in the Swansea area to work for one of the largest companies in the Waste Industry.
Previous experience on a dustcart is advantageous.
The successful candidate must be able to work responsibly, safely and in a timely manner. Duties will include working as part of a team driving the heavy goods vehicle and loading refuse therefore flexibility is crucial. Full training and induction will be given.
Duties:
- Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle
- You will also be required to assist with the loading
- Working with a crew of refuse loaders
- Customer Service - Public Facing
Requirements:
- Class 2 driving experience is essential
- Must hold a valid CPC certificate
- Must have a digital tachograph card
Previous experience of the waste industry and of waste collection is preferred.
Work Pattern: Monday – Friday (overtime and weekends as operationally required)
Hours: 06.00am – 14.00pm
Pay: £13.47 per hour
