Contact Centre Advisor (Customer Service)
Location: Glasgow city centre office
Hours: Monday to Friday between 8.30-5.30
Hybrid working: Available after sign‑off as competent
Job type: Full‑time, permanent
Salary: £24,500
You must be available to start on 24th August and be able to attend 4 full weeks of training in the office .
Additionally we are unable to approve any holidays in October of this year
About the role

We’re recruiting Contact Centre Advisors to join our Customer Services team. You’ll spend most of your day on the phone speaking with customers, understanding their needs and helping them with their policies.
You do not need previous contact centre or financial services experience, although this is also ideal! We welcome applications from people with backgrounds in retail, hospitality, travel or any customer‑facing role. If you enjoy talking to people, listening and helping, we can teach you the rest.
What you’ll be doing
- Speaking with customers by phone and handling a variety of enquiries
- Responding to customer emails.
- Listening carefully and providing clear, accurate information
- Taking ownership of customer queries and seeing them through to resolution
- Using internal systems to update customer records accurately
- Working as part of a supportive, close‑knit team
- Learning our products and processes through full training and coaching
What we’re looking for
We’re looking for people who:
- Enjoy speaking with customers and building rapport over the phone
- Have experience in a customer‑facing role (retail, hospitality, contact centre, etc.)
- Are calm, friendly and professional, even when conversations are challenging
- Care about doing the right thing for customers
- Are comfortable spending most of the day on calls
- Can use computers confidently and follow processes accurately
No contact centre or financial services experience is required — full training is provided.
