About the Role This is a pivotal role at the heart of E.ON's UK Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) ambitions. As the EIS UK BESS Coordination Lead, you will be the central orchestrator connecting our UK pipeline to E.ON UK / E.ON Group and Energy Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) governance, investment criteria, and Solution Factory capabilities. You will assess all incoming BESS offers with M&A and work through the governance process for acquisition. This role would support the due diligence in any process to make sure we are ready and can assure the build. You will ensure that every project moves through the pipeline with rigour, speed, and commercial credibility, from initial opportunity evaluation through to Commercial Operations Date (COD). You will operate at the intersection of strategy, project delivery, and cross-functional alignment. You will be a trusted interlocutor for senior stakeholders across the UK and Central functions, and a critical enabler of E.ON's net-zero ambitions. Why Join E.ON? E.ON is one of Europe's largest energy companies, and our Energy Infrastructure Solutions business is at the forefront of the transition to a clean, decentralised energy system. The UK BESS market is one of the fastest growing in Europe, and this role puts you at the centre of it. You will have real influence over how we build, govern, and scale our pipeline, with the backing of a major European energy group and the agility of a growth-oriented business unit.
