Duties
- Assist senior chefs with food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure timely service
- Support food production processes by preparing ingredients and maintaining station cleanliness
- Follow food safety standards and hygiene protocols diligently to uphold health regulations
- Contribute to maintaining an organized and efficient kitchen environment
- Supervise junior team members when needed, providing guidance and support in daily tasks
- Participate in inventory checks and assist with stock rotation to minimize waste
- Help serve dishes to guests with professionalism and a friendly attitude
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is essential
- Basic culinary skills including food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
- Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise and motivate others
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene regulations applicable in restaurant settings
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
