Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Retrofit Co-ordinator to coordinate delivery of a planned retrofit programme of works to properties.
This role involves communicating with residents to ensure they are updated regularly on the planned works to their homes, and it will also include home visits and decanting of residents to allow delivery of the programme. The successful candidate will coordinate the activity of the contractors, suppliers and consultants engaged in delivering of the retrofit programme. They will also monitor progress of planned retrofits and provide regular reports on activity.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Retrofit and Planned Manager in the delivery of the retrofit programme.
- Case management: create cases for each retrofit on the Housing Management System to manage the tasks required for work on each home.
- Liaise with the housing team to ensure a clear communication strategy on all works to residents' homes and identify any vulnerabilities that need to be catered for. Work closely with the Resident Liaison Officer to gain the trust of residents.
- Overseeing suppliers and contractors engaged to more residents from their homes into temporary accommodation and their return on completion of the works. Monitor contractors to ensue each case is adequately resourced and service level standards are always maintained.
- Ensuring asset data and the asset register are updated to reflect the works carried out, including component details, service target/completion dates and certifications.
- Work with other Asset Team Coordinators to ensure all compliance issues are addressed during the works and recorded in the housing management system.
- Provide cover for the other Compliance Co-ordinator roles, as and when required, updating asset components, Fire Risk Assessments and remedial actions on the Homemaster database, checking and storing certifications, and liaising with compliance contractors to ensure issues are followed up promptly, escalating to the Retrofit Manager or Operations Manager where necessary.
- Raise orders to contractors on the Housing Management System, adhering to the Association's Financial Regulations, and process order and invoices within financial authorities, matching received invoices with raised orders, and managing variations.
- To carry out additional responsibilities reasonably associated with the post-title and post-holder's capabilities, as and when required by the Association.

- A good level of education
- Experience of working in a customer focussed environment and the ability to handle various client-focused activities
- Ability to manage contracts/contractors effectively day-to-day
- Excellent Information Technology and data analysis/processing skills, ability to use Excel and reconcile/validate data
- Close attention to detail
- Good communication externally with contractors and residents, and internally with colleagues
- Curiosity and effective questioning skills
- Evidenced-based ability to challenge assumptions/anomalies in data and processes
It is desirable you have:

Pay: £34,237.12 per year

Work Location: In person
