The Role
We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team, supporting the financial performance of our business based between our Volkswagen dealership in Sunderland and our Škoda dealership in Cramlington, you'll work closely with operational teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and effective financial control.
Key responsibilities include:
· Monitor the Deal Book, identifying and investigating discrepancies or issues relating to vehicle sales.
· Produce accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss & balance Sheet reconciliations.
· Complete month-end and year-end accounting procedures in line with company deadlines.
· Maintain the daily cash book.
· Manage and reconcile bonus debtors, vehicle debtors and the vehicle ledger.
· Ensure all accounting transactions are processed accurately and within agreed timescales.
· Assist in overseeing the purchase ledger and credit control functions, providing guidance and support where required.
· Liaise with departmental managers to obtain financial information
· Support internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate financial information and documentation.
· Assist the Group Management Accountant with ad hoc reporting, analysis and finance projects.
· Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and relevant financial regulations.
About You
We're looking for someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a proactive approach and the initiative to work both independently and as part of a team. You'll be organised, adaptable and committed to delivering accurate financial information while supporting the wider business.
Package
Salary: Basic £30,453.52 per annum, plus a quarterly bonus, with on-target earnings (OTE) of £34,053.52.

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
Pay: £30,453.52-£34,053.52 per year
