Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute installations and repairs.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent outages and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
- Document all work performed through detailed reports and logs for future reference.
- Assist in diagnosing electrical faults using testing devices such as multimeters and circuit testers.
Experience
- Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role with hands-on knowledge of electrical systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., pliers, screwdrivers) and power tools (e.g., drills, saws) essential for daily tasks.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Electrical experience in commercial or industrial settings is highly desirable.
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
