We are entering an exciting phase of growth now, involving bringing another well established high street law firm in the Mathie Lennox & Co. group. This development represents a significant step forward for the business - broadening our reach, strengthening our offering and creating new opportunities within the firm.
We are now seeking a motivated Newly Qualified Solicitor, or a Solicitor with up to 3 years PQE, to join our team at this exciting time. This is a unique opportunity to work across two offices - our main Kilsyth office and the secondary office within Lanarkshire which will shortly become part of the firm. The role offers a varied workload and the chance to gain hands-on experience during a key period of growth as well as clear progression and a genuine route to partnership for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision across a range of Private Client, Conveyancing and other high street law firm matters
- Provide a high standard of client care
- Support the continued development and integration of the firm
- Build relationships wit clients and professional contacts
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with between zero to three years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to clearly articulate legal concepts
- Strong IT skills with proficiency in legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a busy environment.
- Well-developed organizational skills to handle multiple cases or projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- A proactive attitude with a keen eye for accuracy and compliance.
- Willingness and ability to work across two different locations at days and times to be agreed

Pay: £35,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
