Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Semi Skilled Upholsterer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist in pulling on mostly our own designed seat covers, this could be onto foamed framework or foamed wooded boards and upholstery products, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and efficient production. Responsibilities
- Use hand tools and power tools to upholster components with precision and care
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely to support assembly processes
- Follow detailed instructions to ensure proper upholstery fitting, fabric alignment, and finishing touches
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times
- Support warehouse activities by preparing materials for production and managing inventory as needed
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Experience with sewing, fabric handling, or upholstery is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Prior warehouse experience or familiarity with assembly processes is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while maintaining safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Willingness to learn new skills related to fabrication, upholstery, and assembly processes
