About this Role:
The Property Finance Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery of property finance activities across a large residential property portfolio.
The role will work closely with Property, Finance, Insurance, Procurement and other departments to assist with the preparation of service charge budgets, review expenditure allocations, support year-end account reviews, maintain accurate financial records and provide high-quality administrative and financial support.
This role is ideal for an organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with financial information, analysing data and improving processes. Previous property management experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Service Charge Budget Support

Assist with the preparation and administration of annual service charge budgets.

Gather and compile information from Property Managers and other departments.

Ensure budget information is complete, accurate and submitted within agreed deadlines.

Maintain budget schedules and supporting documentation.

Track progress against budgeting timetables and follow up outstanding information.
Reporting & Data Management

Produce regular reports for management and operational teams.

Update and maintain spreadsheets, databases and reporting tools.

Analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies or missing information.

Support the production of management information and performance reporting.
Stakeholder Support
-
Respond to routine finance-related queries from Property Managers and internal stakeholders.

Build effective working relationships across departments.
-
Assist in delivering a professional and responsive service to internal customers.

Escalate complex issues to the Property Finance Manager where appropriate.
Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and data quality.

Support process improvement initiatives.

Assist with the implementation of new systems, reporting tools and automation solutions.

Embrace new technologies and ways of working, including AI-enabled tools where appropriate.

Experience in an administrative, finance, business support or coordination role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
Bonus Skills:

Experience in a finance or accounting environment.

Experience within property management, housing, real estate or facilities management.

Exposure to budgeting, financial reporting or data analysis.

Experience using finance or property management systems.

Experience working in a high-volume operational environment.
Qualifications
Essential
-
GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
Desirable
-
AAT Qualification or currently studying towards AAT.

Business Administration qualification.
-
Degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related subject.
