Robinson's Fleet Solutions is a family owned business. We provide vehicle repair facilities for manufacturers and fleet leasing companies. We offer all aspects of repair from wheel repair, mechanical work and servicing, bodywork, smart repair and vehicle movements.
The Job role is to carry out a vehicle cosmetic inspection and where required a mechanical inspection to meet the relevant contractual standards. The role also requires moving vehicles through our management system and the authorisation process. There will be times when you will be asked to deputise for the QC department and carry out QC rectification if required.
Scope of Role:
To process daily arrivals through the inspection process, providing a detailed and accurate estimate for body damage, cosmetic work and mechanical work to meet the lease end standard.
To ensure vehicles are completed within the SLA of our customers and ensure a smooth running efficient department.
Objectives for Role:
- To understand and apply the standards that apply to each customer's contract.
- To provide our customers an accurate appraisal with images and measurements for the damage recorded.
- Strong understanding of vehicle repair methods, wheel refurbishment, paint methods, smart repairs and localised repairs. Having the ability to select the most appropriate and cost effective repair method for the damage.
- A good understanding of vehicle components on both cars and commercials is essential in this role.
- A good eye for detail is a an important consideration for this role.
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising workload.
- To be flexible and able to support peak periods of arrivals.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
